Flaco's Café is named after my father (Manolo) who has worked in the food business for most of his life. Flaco means skinny in Spanish and that was his nickname while he was growing up in Cuba . For the majority of his business ventures he has used either my mother's name (Mercedes) or other feminine names. I thought it was about time the old man got a little respect.
